Function

You do the preparation , processing and finishing of metal constructions based on the instructions || the welding plan || the drawing. You sometimes work individually, sometimes in a team.

You have knowledge of welding equipment and its settings , depending on the material to be welded and the welding position.

You have feeling for the application of assembly and welding sequences.

You are familiar with material processing that occur before & after welding. For exemple : weld bevel || multi-layered weld.

You take care of your equipment and its basic maintenance.
Profile

You are a certified welder with solid knowledge of (photo) welding( WPS-PQR-procedure ) , and the most common welding processes such as TIG, semi-automatic, electrode and OP-welding.

You know the various welding types & positions ( V-X-Y).

You can recognize welding errors and estimate their scope.

You are willing to work both in the workshop ( Lokeren ) and on-site.

You consider safety & quality important ,and you comply with the required procedures.

About JRN-Construct
JRN-Construct is a flemish SME , located in the new industrial zone along motorway E17 in Lokeren. JRN-Construct specializes in tank construction & tank maintenance , mainly for the petrochemical sector. JRN-Construct also has the necessary experience with the construction of the associated pipelines.
JRN-Construct builds these tanks & installations on-site , with partial pre-fabrication in the workshop in Lokeren.
